Not Your Disney Character

A lot of wonderful animated, and live action for that matter, movies have been made featuring characters and stories “as old as time,” yet when we go in search of the books they come from a different tale is found.

Pinocchio is just one of many characters who has transitioned from the page to the screen, and in the process his story changed and evolved, with key aspects, like the ever changing length of his nose, and his origin as a piece of wood, remaining the same.

So, for those of us who have not gone back to the well, and encountered Pinocchio as he was originally presented by Carlo Collodi, here is his story.
